First Gym battle in Platinum: Sneasel Lv. 40; Piloswine Lv. 40; Abomasnow Lv. 42; Froslass Lv. 44. Fire is especially effective against Abomasnow. Do not rely only on Fighting: Froslass is part Ghost and immune to it.

Gym puzzle

Build momentum on the icy slopes to break snowballs and clear a straight route to the leader.

Badge and TM rewards

Win the Icicle Badge and TM72 Avalanche. The badge allows Rock Climb outside battle once you have the HM. These are the first Gym teams, not the later Battleground rematches.
