Enemies and hazards

Amy
The green Poe Sister in the Forest Temple. Solve her block puzzle to reveal her and recover her flame.

Anubis
A floating enemy that mirrors Link's movement. Defeat it with fire or lure it into a flame trap.

Armos
A statue that comes alive when disturbed. Explodes after defeat, so move away quickly.

Baby Dodongo
A small burrowing reptile found around Dodongo's Cavern. Its body explodes shortly after defeat.

Bari
A large electrified jellyfish in Jabu-Jabu's Belly. Use the Boomerang to interrupt its dangerous electric defense.

Beamos
A rotating eye statue that fires a tracking beam. Use explosives and avoid its line of sight.

Beth
The blue Poe Sister in the Forest Temple. Her portrait encounter involves shooting pictures with the Fairy Bow.

Big Blade
A rotating scythe trap in the Shadow Temple. Watch its sweep and move through the safe opening.

Big Deku Baba
A large carnivorous plant with a powerful bite. Keep outside its lunge and strike when its head is exposed.

Big Poe
A mounted-hunting target in adult Hyrule Field. Defeat it with arrows while riding Epona, then bottle its spirit.

Big Skulltula
A large spider that blocks passages. Wait for it to turn and attack the exposed underside.

Biri
A small electric jellyfish in Jabu-Jabu's Belly. Avoid direct contact while it is charged.

Blade Trap
A spiked sliding obstacle that moves when Link approaches. Bait its movement before crossing.

Blue Bubble
A flying skull surrounded by blue flame. Block or extinguish its protection before attacking.

Blue Tektite
A jumping creature found near water. Can leap across the surface while pursuing Link.

Boulder
A rolling environmental hazard. Observe its route and wait in a safe recess before passing.

Business Scrub
A Deku Scrub merchant who often requires a reflected nut before offering a sale.

Club Moblin
A large guardian in the Sacred Forest Meadow whose club sends shock waves down the corridor.

Deku Baba
A snapping forest plant. Its defeated form can provide useful Deku supplies depending on how it is cut.

Deku Scrub
A plant-like foe that spits nuts. Reflect a nut with the shield to force it out of hiding.

Dinolfos
An aggressive reptilian swordsman encountered in later combat trials. Guard its strikes and counter during openings.

Dodongo
A fire-breathing reptile with a vulnerable tail. Stay away from its mouth and its death explosion.

Trap Door
A false door that falls toward Link when approached. Destroy or avoid it rather than treating it as a passage.

Fire Eye
An eye trap that emits fire. Shoot its open eye with an arrow to destroy it.

Fire Keese
A burning bat whose contact can ignite vulnerable equipment. Strike it at range when possible.

Flame Wall
A fire barrier that damages and knocks Link back. The Fire Temple uses these to form shifting paths.

Flat
One of the deceased Composer Brothers in Kakariko Graveyard, associated with research into music and the flow of time.

Floor Spikes
Spiked terrain that punishes careless movement. Watch for safe routes and changing trap timing.

Floormaster
A floor-crawling hand that splits into smaller hands. Finish the fragments before they can regroup.

Flying Pot
An ordinary-looking pot that launches itself toward Link when he approaches.

Crazy Floor Tile
A floor tile that rises and flies at Link. Guard against successive tiles until the attack ends.

Freezard
An ice enemy that exhales freezing breath. Attack from outside the breath's path.

Gerudo Guard
A fortress lookout who captures intruders. Use stealth or stun guards while rescuing the carpenters.

Gibdo
A wrapped undead enemy whose scream can freeze Link in place. The Sun's Song provides a safer opening.

Gohma Larva
A young Gohma encountered inside the Deku Tree. Watch the eye and attack when it is vulnerable.

Gold Skulltula
A collectible spider. Defeat it and collect its token to lift the curse on Kakariko's wealthy family.

Green Bubble
A flying skull with a green-flame shield. Wait for the flame to disappear before striking.

Guay
A dark bird that swoops at Link. Target it as it approaches and avoid fighting beside dangerous edges.

Guillotine
A falling-blade trap. Wait for it to rise and pass before the next drop.

Ice Keese
A frost-covered bat that freezes Link on contact. Defeat it before approaching narrow ledges.

Ice Scythe
A rotating double-ended ice blade in the Ice Cavern. Move around its sweep.

Joelle
The red Poe Sister in the Forest Temple, encountered through the temple's haunted portrait sequence.

Keese
A small bat that dives toward Link. Ranged attacks are useful when it hovers above reach.

Leever
A sand-dwelling creature that surfaces to attack in desert areas. Keep moving to avoid its path.

Like Like
A tube-shaped enemy that swallows Link and can steal equipment. Defeat it promptly to recover stolen gear.

Lizalfos
An agile sword-wielding reptile. Block or avoid its attack, then counter before it jumps away.

Mad Scrub
A hostile Deku Scrub that spits projectiles. Reflect its shot and chase it when it emerges.

Magma Bomb

The other Composer Brother, encountered as a ghost in the graveyard near the Royal Family's Tomb.

Shell Blade
A clam-like underwater enemy. Strike its exposed interior when its shell opens.

Skulltula

Skullwalltula
A spider clinging to climbable walls. Clear it from the route before climbing past.

Skull Kid
A Lost Woods resident who becomes hostile to adult Link. Child Link can instead interact through music and masks.

An aquatic spiked enemy. Strip away or wait out its defenses before attacking the exposed body.

Spiked-Log Trap
A moving spiked obstacle. Read its path and time the crossing rather than attempting to fight it.

Stalchild
A skeletal creature that rises in Hyrule Field at night during childhood. Daybreak ends the nighttime threat.

Stalfos
A skeleton swordsman carrying a shield. Watch its jump and sword attacks, then counter while its defense is open.

Stinger
A ray-like enemy that bursts from water and glides toward Link. Target it when it emerges.

An electric segmented enemy inside Jabu-Jabu. Avoid its charged body and use the Boomerang.

Toxic Water

White Wolfos
A white wolf miniboss guarding the Ice Cavern's final reward. Block its swipes and counter from the side or rear.
