Biography
Darunia leads the Gorons during a food crisis associated with Dodongo’s Cavern. Link’s help begins a bond that continues into the adult-era story.

Darunia is a large Goron with rocky skin, a broad build and an expressive face.
Personality
He can be stern when his people are endangered, but also warm, exuberant and deeply loyal. His reactions make the Goron community feel like more than a dungeon entrance.
Role in the story
The child-era cavern quest earns his trust. Later, the Fire Temple crisis puts his courage and responsibility toward his people under renewed pressure.
