Jewel of Open
Librarian purchase. Opens blue magically sealed doors. Budget for it when the castle’s accessible paths seem exhausted, rather than buying only incremental combat upgrades.
Leap Stone
Castle Keep movement relic. Adds a double jump. Revisit high ledges and the library route after obtaining it; increased height affects several earlier dead ends.
Soul of Wolf
Outer Wall transformation. Provides wolf form. Transformation abilities have their own movement behaviours, so test the controls before using them near hazards.
Form of Mist
Colosseum transformation. Allows passage through appropriate grates. The initial form has limits; a short transformation is not the same as unrestricted travel through solid walls.
Soul of Bat
Long Library transformation. Opens flight-based exploration. Plan around MP and return routes when entering vertical areas that were previously unreachable.
Holy Symbol
Underwater protection. Supports safer underwater exploration. Do not confuse this relic with healing or assume water routes become free of enemies and other hazards.
Spike Breaker
Special armour. Protects against spike obstacles needed for a key exploration route. Keep it for that purpose even when another armour piece offers a more attractive general stat.
Holy Glasses
Special Richter encounter equipment. Obtained through the two-ring clock-room sequence. Equip them during Richter’s fight to reveal the target required to continue toward the inverted castle.
