Biography
Richter is the hero of the opening confrontation, which recalls the end of Rondo of Blood. His later appearance in the castle presents a mystery about his changed position.
Appearance
Richter wears a blue headband and hunter’s clothing and uses the Vampire Killer whip.
Personality
He is courageous and proud, but the story questions whether his actions are truly his own.
Role in the story
The apparent confrontation with him can end the game prematurely. Investigating further and using the correct equipment reveals the route to the inverted castle.
Gameplay and encounters
For the full Alucard story, obtain and equip the Holy Glasses and attack the revealed controlling target. Simply defeating Richter is not equivalent to completing the complete castle route.
