01

Link’s uncle

Opening rescue connection. The opening sequence introduces the castle route and your first sword. Follow the immediate rescue path before exploring the whole overworld.

02

Zelda

Rescue target and central ally. Her role connects the castle opening with the later crystal quest. Story events can change safe locations and access routes.

03

Sahasrahla

Elder and guide. Found near the Eastern Palace, he provides guidance and an important reward after your first pendant. Return instead of treating the dungeon exit as the end of that objective.

04

Agahnim

Castle antagonist. His magic confrontation is a progression milestone. Observe how attacks behave rather than assuming ordinary sword pressure is the only way to damage him.

05

Blacksmiths

Sword improvement. Their reunion involves travel between worlds. Plan the return path with the Magic Mirror before carrying out the rescue.

06

Flute Boy

Optional travel quest. His story leads toward an important travel tool. Follow the location clue and distinguish finding the flute from activating its full usefulness.

07

Seven maidens

Crystal quest figures. Rescuing them marks Dark World dungeon progress. Their dialogue provides context and hints; each crystal is part of the route toward the final stronghold.
