Jigglypuff
Play 50 VS matches, then defeat Jigglypuff in the challenger battle.
Dr. Mario
Play 100 VS matches, then defeat Dr. Mario in the challenger battle.
Pichu
Play 200 VS matches, then defeat Pichu in the challenger battle.
Falco
Play 300 VS matches, then defeat Falco in the challenger battle.
Marth
Play 400 VS matches, then defeat Marth in the challenger battle.
Young Link
Play 500 VS matches, then defeat Young Link in the challenger battle.
Ganondorf
Play 600 VS matches, then defeat Ganondorf in the challenger battle.
Mewtwo
Play 700 VS matches, then defeat Mewtwo in the challenger battle.
Luigi
Play 800 VS matches, then defeat Luigi in the challenger battle.
Roy
Play 900 VS matches, then defeat Roy in the challenger battle.
Mr. Game & Watch
Play 1000 VS matches, then defeat Mr. Game & Watch in the challenger battle.
Alternative challenges
Each secret fighter also has an alternative challenge, such as clearing a solo mode or an Event Match. The milestones above provide one consistent route through the full roster.
Zelda and Sheik
Sheik shares Zelda’s selection slot. Use down + B to transform; Sheik does not require a separate unlock.
Use Training Mode to practise a movement or item before taking it into a match.
