Mach Bike
Speed and momentum. Choose it for slopes and cracked-floor routes requiring speed. Practise the approach before committing to a narrow section; stopping midway can undo the crossing.
Acro Bike
Hops and balance. Choose it for trick-based exploration. Rydel lets you exchange bikes, so record which obstacles need the other model instead of assuming one bicycle solves everything.
PokéNav
Map and Match Call. Use it to track locations and contacts. Rematch availability is not the same as a guaranteed battle whenever you call a registered trainer.
Go-Goggles
Route 111 desert access. These allow exploration of the sandstorm area after the relevant story milestone. Return with catching supplies and a plan for the desert’s optional pickups.
Itemfinder
Hidden-item clues. It indicates nearby concealed items. Check the surrounding tiles carefully and distinguish hidden pickups from objects that require a field move.
Berries and held items
Battle preparation. Equip a suitable berry or passive item before a boss. Generation III damage categories are type-based, so match offensive items and moves to the correct attacking stat.
