Biography

Maxie wants to expand the land, believing that this will benefit human development. His plan places Groudon and Hoenn’s environmental balance at the centre of the conflict.

Appearance

Maxie’s red hair and red-and-black uniform identify him with Team Magma. His restrained posture makes a useful contrast with Archie’s more boisterous presentation.

Personality

He is ideological and convinced of his own logic. Emerald uses the consequences of both teams’ actions to expose the danger of their competing simplifications.
