Squirt Nozzle
Aiming and cleaning. The standard spray removes goop and interacts with enemies and objects. Stop to aim when accuracy matters instead of circling a small target while wasting water.
Hover Nozzle
Midair correction. Provides a limited hover burst. Use it to stabilise a jump with a plausible landing, not to recover indefinitely from a badly missed platform.
Rocket Nozzle
Vertical launch. Charges before propelling Mario upward. Stand in a safe position and check overhead clearance before using it near a ledge.
Turbo Nozzle
Fast horizontal movement. Builds speed across ground and water and opens some barriers. Plan the stopping area before accelerating through a narrow route.
Water supply
Shared nozzle resource. Refill in suitable water. Long platforming sections are easier when you enter with a full tank rather than discovering the shortage halfway across.
Yoshi and fruit
Juice-based exploration. An egg requests a particular fruit before hatching. Juice supports special interactions, but Yoshi cannot safely enter deep water in this game.
Blue Coins
Optional Shine exchange. Ten Blue Coins exchange for one Shine Sprite. Record them by area and episode, because some are only convenient or available under specific episode conditions.
