01

F.L.U.D.D.

Talking water-pack companion. Provides Mario’s spray and movement tools. Secret stages that remove the pack test a different skill set, so practise basic jumps without relying on hover.

02

Peach and Toadsworth

Travelling companions. Their appearances frame the vacation and investigation. The playable adventure centres on Mario rather than a switchable party.

03

Piantas

Island residents. Residents offer hints, challenges and occasional transport assistance. Read nearby dialogue when an episode’s title does not make the local objective obvious.

04

Nokis

Coastal community. Noki Bay’s inhabitants connect its episodes and restoration story. Follow their local instructions before treating the bay as an unrestricted collection area.

05

Shadow Mario

Chase target. His appearances drive story progression and unlocks. Pursue while spraying and manage your position so he does not lead you into a fall.

06

Petey Piranha

Recurring boss. His attack openings matter more than constant spraying. Watch for the mouth-opening phase, then respond to the exposed vulnerability.

07

Bowser Jr.

Central antagonist. His role explains several earlier events. This entry identifies him without replacing the separate progression route through the seven main courses.
