TMs are consumed after one use; HMs are reusable. Visit the Move Deleter in Blackthorn City to remove an HM move, or bring a Heart Scale to the Move Reminder in the same house. Each Pokémon can hold one item.

Apricorns and daily rewards

Collect Apricorns from trees across Johto and Kanto. Give them to Kurt in Azalea Town; he turns them into special Poké Balls by the following day. Pokéathlon Athlete Shop stock rotates by weekday and expands after the National Pokédex. Battle Frontier prizes use Battle Points.

Grow Berries in the portable Berry Pots and water them with the SquirtBottle. The Dowsing MCHN from Ecruteak City helps find hidden pickups. Shard collectors exchange coloured shards for Berry sets in Violet City and Fuchsia City.

Locations marked HeartGold or SoulSilver apply to that version. Pokéwalker rewards require the accessory and the appropriate unlocked route; some routes were limited event distributions. The Enigma Stone and eligible event Pokémon originally came from distributions that have ended.
