M9
Tranquilizer pistol. Useful for a nonlethal approach. Confirm the selected weapon before firing and remember that sleeping guards can eventually wake.
USP and SOCOM
Lethal handguns. Belong to different parts of the adventure. Suppressors reduce sound but do not make your actions invisible to witnesses.
PSG1 and PSG1-T
Lethal and tranquilizer sniper rifles. The T variant is nonlethal. Check the exact name when pursuing a no-kill approach instead of relying on the similar weapon silhouette.
Coolant
Bomb freezing. Spray until the detonator stops blinking. A visible spray near the bomb is not sufficient evidence that disposal is complete.
Sensor A and later detection equipment
Bomb-search support. Use the sensor specified by the current briefing. Different objectives change the detection procedure; the first tool is not a universal locator.
Directional microphone
Listening and identification. Aim toward the relevant source in first-person view. It is an information tool, so choose a safe position before focusing on audio cues.
Magazines and books
Guard distractions. Can create an opening without firing. Place or throw them where the resulting guard movement helps your route instead of drawing attention toward your hiding place.
Nikita and Stinger
Guided and lock-on missiles. These use different aiming systems. Identify whether the task requires steering through a route or holding a target lock before choosing one.
Cardboard boxes
Situational concealment. Useful in the right context, not guaranteed invisibility. Watch patrol reactions and avoid moving conspicuously in an observed area.
