World visits and boss preparation
Organise the original campaign and use Sora’s defensive tools more effectively.

Complete the Twilight Town opening
The prologue establishes movement and combat before Sora’s main journey begins. Once you receive the broader ability and equipment options, revisit the menus. New abilities are not useful until equipped, and a Keyblade’s ability can matter as much as its raw strength.
Use the world map’s battle level
Worlds open in groups, allowing some choice of order. Their displayed battle levels are a useful guide when choosing your next destination. Revisit Hollow Bastion when the story directs you there; not every newly available objective is located in a Disney world.
Expect return visits
Many worlds have a later story visit rather than ending permanently after the first boss. Check the world map and journal after major Hollow Bastion events. A previously completed world becoming active again is part of normal progression, not evidence that your earlier completion was lost.
Defend before extending a combo
Guard, Reflect and movement can create safer openings than repeated attacks. Learn the boss’s recovery window before adding long combo strings. If you are repeatedly interrupted, shorten the attack sequence and return to defence instead of equipping more combo extensions indiscriminately.
Prepare for the final world
Keep healing on a familiar shortcut, equip survival abilities when available and check item settings. The World That Never Was leads into sustained late-game battles. Optional superbosses are a separate challenge; finishing the story does not require completing every journal entry or synthesis recipe.
