Check the form’s own experience rule

Drive Forms do not all level from ordinary enemy experience. Open the status information before choosing a training route. If the form’s experience is not increasing, you may be fighting the wrong enemy type or performing the wrong action rather than hitting a bug.

02

Valor and Wisdom

Valor gains experience from landing hits, while Wisdom gains it from defeating Heartless. Valor cannot cast magic, so keep another recovery plan available. Choose durable targets for repeated Valor hits and groups of manageable Heartless for Wisdom instead of treating both forms as identical grinding tools.

03

Master Form

Master gains experience from Drive Orbs: small orbs give one point and large ones three. A route with suitable orb drops matters more than simply choosing the strongest enemies. Make sure the form is active when you collect them and keep an eye on the remaining Drive gauge.

04

Final Form

Final Form is a late-game unlock and gains experience from defeating Nobodies. Training it grants access to Glide improvements. Do not follow a Heartless farming route and expect Final Form to progress at the same rate as Wisdom; the enemy category is the important difference.

05

Equip the movement rewards

Form growth improves High Jump, Quick Run, Aerial Dodge and Glide for normal Sora at appropriate milestones. Equip the unlocked abilities before returning for difficult treasure chests. Limit Form and its Dodge Roll belong to Final Mix, not the original Kingdom Hearts II release covered by this wiki.
