Biography

Tingle is an eccentric map enthusiast whose services become important during the Triforce Chart phase of the original Wind Waker.

Appearance

Tingle wears a green suit with a pointed hood and often uses a balloon.

Personality

He is enthusiastic about fairy imagery and equally interested in payment. His comic presentation does not make his fees optional when the original route requires chart deciphering.

Role in the story

After an early encounter, he can be found at his island. The GameCube Triforce quest uses his services more extensively than the HD revision.

Gameplay and encounters

Upgrade the wallet and reserve rupees before collecting all the charts. Do not follow an HD shortcut when playing the original release, since the number of charts requiring deciphering differs.
