Collectibles and completion
Optional discoveries, useful collections and completion goals in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Spoiler notice: This guide discusses story progression or late-game content.
Original Nintendo 64 release; saving and some mechanics differ in Majora’s Mask 3D.
Masks
Track permanent masks separately from temporary quest items. Many come from following a character’s schedule rather than finishing a dungeon.
Stray Fairies
Collect a temple’s fairies within the same cycle and take the complete set to its Great Fairy. Resetting time can undo temporary fairy progress.
Hearts and notebook events
Use the Bomber’s Notebook as a scheduling aid. For long quests, prepare the necessary masks and travel options before starting a fresh cycle.
Use the edition note above when comparing a checklist with another release. Story completion, collecting and platform achievements are separate goals.
